I agree they would look good in black or maybe overlaid. But I also think the design could be much better, they pop out too much.

 

I found out for sure they are comming out in black some time soon. The company is waiting for their shipment. I plan on getting these. I think they would look hot in black on a black z!!!

 

Black will be "better", however, the biggest problem I see with this is the fact that it domes out (as mentioned earlier). If the housing was exactly like the OEM but clear, perhaps it wouldn't look so bad but it's not. Take a look at the picture below of this on the white Z. If you look carefully at the right taillight, you will see that it has this funky bulge which kinda makes it look like frog eyes or something.
