There are + and - for each . . .

PU more give to it if you hit something. FG likes to crack. Either way you will be repairing it in most cases, with the PU being more resilient.

The reason is because it urethane is more durable and holds paint better.

Urethane is flexable plastic where fiberglass is not.

Fiberglass will spider crack and paint seems to chip off of it faster from rocks and will shatter on impact.

With Urethane paint sticks better and will flex just like a stock front bumper on impact.

Alot of people will argue that fiberglass is way lighter but its not a huge difference in weight from urethane.

Most companies do not offer urethane because its expensive to produce and its a science to make a part expand right in a mold.

I would go with the Urethane Veilside front lip because it is offered and it will be more durable in the long run then fiberglass .
