Where do u go to get the brake lights blacked out like that, is it just tint or something else, by the way thats an amazing car, what CF hood is that, Thanks.

a member from the other board did them for me. His name is BOOGIEMYKE and he has done several members cars. He is from the DFW area... i can get you in touch with him if you want! it is a spray tint that he puts over and the wet sands to make it all shiny and smooth...

Seibon VS style hood.

well somewhat $$$. i had the tailights and headlights blacked out along with the parking strip smoked all for 400 bones, but it really sets it off!!

That's not as much as I was thinking. I would've guessed $600. That was totally worth it. Do you know what the price breakdown was? Like...if I only wanted my headlights done? Also, what was the turn around time?

I can't remember exactly he just quoted me for both, not idividually, but I am sure the headlights are more expensive than the tailights. He is local to me so it took only a few days. if you want me to put you in contact with him I can do that just PM me if you want to.

I know that for out of town customers, you pay shipping there, he pays shipping back..... he has done quite a few z's, I have seen him do any color you want, match the car if you want.

Mike quality is good but once it come to problem, he just refuse to fix it (at least in my case) I end up paying another $200 for a local shop here to clean up the mess. If asking will i recommend his service again? i would say do it your own risk.

Cat,
It looks like that whole upper area where your blinker is, is painted black. If it is, how is the light output from the blinker since it has nothing to reflect off of?

eh, I really don't know... really don't care LOL. I hardly use my blinker in the first place. But I wanted that look more than concern for my blinker.... I will try and take a pic of it when it is blinking for you!

I have same setup...did it myself. The blinker in daytime is almost invisible. Infact last Sunday some old lady felt the need to yell at me because she thought I wasn't using my blinker and was trying to hold up her day. Yeah it got heated. Moral of story don't stop to get yelled at.

Seriously though blinker in day is invisible at night it is visible.

Looks excellent, kinda think it'll look just as nice on my SB. Does he do exchanges at all? (It'd suck to wait w/o headlights for shipping them to TX, etc).
