CF Headlights!
Just ran into this & wondering if anyone here has them? They said it is "carbon wrapped" so I'm not sure how this resists to fading or high heat from the bulbs but I just emailed them to inquire more info. I think they look bad a**! I just hope they won't cost an arm & a leg but I guess we'll see.

Well, just talked to Bo (Sales Manager) & he tells me they don't actually build the headlights. They only provide the carbon wrapping service which cost $400 & would take roughly 3 weeks turnaround. He explained that we would, however, have to take apart/reassemble our headlights ourselves. So I guess we would have to use the same process as how everyone is replacing their orange strips to clear or painting the housing. IMO...unless you have spare headlight internals, I think this is too much down time & a risk for errors due to the DIY part with the housing .
Here's his info if you want more details:

I got the Ares' clear strips and I disassembled and reassembled my own headlights. Ive had some REAL heavy rain lately and my headlights have held up fine. Just really layer on the black silicone around the edges where you opened it up and you should be fine. I found it actually to be more difficult to open the housing than close it. Most people think you just heat it and it comes apart like butter. No, its still pretty hard, even after the heating (I cooked mine in the oven rather than the heat gun method). There was still a good amount of prying and tugging involved.

Personally, I just dont care for anything that LOOKS like carbon fiber -- except for true (dry) carbon fiber.
I wouldnt want a McLaren F1 with "wrapped" carbon, I would want it with real carbon.
Now, its obvious that real carbon fiber is expensive. Hense the reason I dont like how people sport "fake" carbon fiber as if its something out of the ordinary. Its the same reason I dont like vaneer wood, I'de rather have the real thing or just not show it off at all.
Even then, I like cars like the Ferrari F50, where its carbon fiber and PAINTED. Carbon is OK, but painted is better.
