Default Help - I need stronger trunk springs

Some help please ...... I have just fitted a Veilside V1 rear wing to my UK spec Zed ....... and very nice it is too.

Only problem I'm having is that the boot lid (trunk) is too heavy and when I release the boot catch, it's not rising enough to clear the catch. So opening the boot has become a two handed job.

I'm told this is a problem some of you guys have had and that a TSB has been issued so thought you may be able to help with solutions.

The way I see it I either need stronger springs (if so where can I buy them from) or I need to pad out the bit in the body work where the spring sits when the trunk is closed.

And yes, I have taken the weight out of the trunk lid already

Any suggestions will be well received.
