where is a good place to run a wire from the battery into the cockpit of the car. i want to install a switch for my fog lights in the compartment of the center console.

 

if you remove the battery cover and some of the plastic covering around it, you can see a huge bundle of wire going through a rubber grommet. follow it and that'll take you right into the front passenger footwell area.
