Default GTF Kit Installed and CF Panels

I spoke with Jamee today and found out that while his original post said that it would be 2000 for the GTF w/fiberglass door kit installed and 2400 for the GF Kit w/CF door kit installed. He doesn't actually do installs anymore/yet(?), so he called the shop that he said has installed 50 of these kits.

The price is:
$2,295 for the kit and install Plus
$ 800 for the CF Door panel (or $400 for the fiberglass one)
______
$3,095

I was ready to pull the trigger for $2,400, but at $3,100 I am not sure these dollars couldn't be better spent. I really like the kit BUT.

Thoughts?

For 3100 you can get a great set of Volks, or 80% of the way to a turbonetics single turbo. 2400 is far more in line--I'd pull the trigger at that dollar amount but I cant stomach 3100 for something that will only be used rarely.

That's my feeling exactly... But at this point, I really like the 35th Anniversary wheels. The Lambo doors looked like a cool change, and at $2400 I was ready to order, but then it became 700 more.

Thanks for the sanity check!
