Default New DIY 1/2" Silver Grille Strips (feeler)

hey everyone...I changed the look of my front end. I added the Concept Z EVO-R LED & changed my 3/8" chrome truck wheel well strips to 1/2" polyurethane silver.
As far as I know, no one sells the solid silver color (will not chip and change color) polyurethane silver in the U shaped form. The chrome strips that a lot of guys are using is 3/8" U shaped. The only solid silver color that is available is in the L shaped and it dosen't do a great job if you would use it as a grille cover piece.
So I found a manufacturer near my home who makes this stuff for a lot of companies. They do not make the solid silver in the U shaped form however they will run a special run of the solid polyurethane silver color but it must be minimum 5,000 ft. so I need to find a supplier to sell these if any company out there is interested. I had samples made of four 37" strips, 1/2" U shaped baked painted silver over their existing U shaped black that they sell. My original intention was to match the color of Courtesy's Z emblem but after looking over 3 rings of silver colors, the one I finally chose ended up a bit lighter color of silver but when I installed it in the lower grille area the color seems to blend in perfectly. Now, I think I want to change it to the color of the LED silver (darker) piece. After taking pics & etc. the color scheme in my mind seems to lean towards matching the color of the LED piece rather than the Z emblem. Do I have a great idea? Am I being paranoia? What do you guys think? Here are some pics.

I think that looks really nice. I like that its matte and not chrome/shiny like the reg strips. You might be right that it is still a touch bright, but I really think it looks nice.

I would prob buy some if it were available.

At the present time, it's not available nowhere as far as I know. I'm trying to find a supplier/vendor to pick up on this. I'm just curious to see if there's more interest out there!
