Default SSSupaBlack Track, Debadged Ings Half Kit, (Rep) pics!

Sorry it took so long. I had to take it back to the shop because they overlooked a few things.

Wheels are the ubiquitous 19 inch TE37s Rolling 255/35 fronts and 285/35 rear tires.

Kit is HUR Ings half kit style replica (Its shitty dont get it!) Okay fitment but fragile as hell! Cost me to prep it right but the whole project ended up being cheaper than the cost of the whole authentic kit!!

Overall I am pleased. It looks sick!

I normally don't like that kit since it looks like it just attatches to the stock rear bumper, but it looks pretty good on black

looks almost supra-ish or something

nice kit, but if you're gonna go SO black, you should have a little bling to offset it somewhere. i think some gloss black 6 spokes with a polished rim would go nicely. jmo.

Get your wheels powdercoated gunmetal w/ polished lip. It will look sick.

Car is lookign sweet bro! Can you measure the clearance in front from the ground to the lip? my car is about as slammed as yours is, so I'm curious to see what the clearance will be for me once I get the kit put on.

Looks good! Yeah, how's the ground clearance? Since you say the replica is fragile, aren't you afraid of it cracking?

Does the lowest portion of the front lip match up to the sideskirts or is it even lower? Either way, nice job!

Thank you for all the compliments!
I am in the process of moving so I will answer questions briefly
(sigh!) so much to do so little time!

Yeah I am thinking of getting Ggames with 10.5 rears. NOt as light but more flashy. Anyone wanna trade?

No time now but I will tell you the lowest point is about 2.5 inches off the ground. I have to be VERY careful over bumps. I do not reccomend a lip (especially this one) for cars this low!

I have ordered Tein S Techs. I was tired of 'high-centering' over really big bumps anyway.

Wow thanks for looking out Jason. Price is right too. I will order from you when I get more money! Do you think these are quality enough that I can bolt them on with simple tools?

A small part already did when I scraped on a shallow dip doing some twisties. I took it back and made them fix it on the pretense that they did not prep it well enough. problem solved. The Teins will keep this from happening in the future!

Borla TD and I love it. One of my only trouble free mods.
Loud and sexy when you want it to be and you can keep it quiet when PoPo is around

Its funny cause this is the setup Im going with. I bought the Initial D 2 but I just sold it to someone else and Im going with the authentic kit. The Nismo sides we have is a complete bolt on part, comes with installation guide. BTW, car looks hot~!

Bump. I made a post earlier and it didn't seem to take.

The kit looks awesome, btw. What kind of springs are you running? I was going to say that I've already ordered this same kit, and am also concerned about the clearance up front.

I just checked out an authentic kit in person today (not joust75's car). Anyways, it looks really clean in person as well. I am looking forward to getting this kit. The people I am going through say they will give us a good deal since they import directly from INGS in Japan (it's run by a Japanese family...). They also gave me a HyperRev magazine to look through for any other parts I would be interested in.

Sorry to get OT, but if you guys are interested in this kit (authentic) or other JDM parts, PM me for the guy's number. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up since a lot of people seem to be interested in this kit all of a sudden (I've been looking at it for more than 2 years now!)

After dealing with 2 replica body kits for this car, and others for other cars, and seeing authentic body kits in person and installing them all / having them painted etc for customers... i would never buy a replica again.. the extra price is not worth the headache...

I had B+G springs which claimed to lower the car one inch. It lowered it more like an inch and three quarters.
My Teins should be arriving any day so I wont have to deal with this madness anymore.

Yeah, it definitely looks a bit lower than mine. The eibachs should be around an inch drop. Hopefully I won't have too many issues with this. I guess I'll just have them reinforce the front lip, and if I have repeated problems with it, I'll just eventually order a genuine hybrid lip to replace it.
