Default Cheap! Front Grill Mod (pics)

This has been done before, but just thought id show you guys .
I bought some truck door trimming from advance auto parts for about $5.
All i had to do was shove it on and cut, no glue necessary! Took about 5 minutes to put on.
Looks very good for the price.

For $5 bucks and 5 minutes of your time....would you really be worried about problems?

If you want them to last any time, then glue IS necessary. If you don't seal the ends where you made the cuts with some superglue, water will seap in between the clear plastic covering and the chrome base and cause them to separate. I had to replace my first set after a few months. The second set has been on now for over a year and it still looks good.

03Black350Z...Nice job. I prefer the wrap-around look. Mine is made from polyurethane.

I love that look you have SluggoZ but the difficulty of getting the polyurethane seems to preclude it from being feasible.

Kaitain...Thanks for the compliment. The manufacturer will run 5,000 feet of this stuff but I need to find a supplier/vendor!
