Shorty Antenna(Onstar) Pics
Well, i had one of these Onstar Antennas laying around, so I decided to see if it would even fit. The thread was good, but the threads were too long, so I cut off a good chunk of it and now it fits snuggly in there. No more bouncy antenna for me. Radio reception is still good as well, plus I mainly listen to CD's so another added bonus. Here are some pics I took of it

So far, I have done a custom Nismo Popcharger, tinted the orange reflectors on front bumper, and now a shorty antenna for exactly.........$0.00
I love recycling to my advantage

I liked that so much I just ordered one for $12 on Ebay.
How much of the threads did you have to cut off and what did you use to cut it off with? I'm guessing you used a dremel tool.

I honestly dont know, i remember paying like 20 for mine, but thats b/c the threads were increased to fit on my old sentra, so I used a hacksaw to cut down the threading.
