I am looking to black out my headlights. Can someone walk me throught the painting process. I know how to take it apart but not too sure on the painting, sanding...etc.

 

After many mistakes perfected this:

Sand the chrome finish down, prime, and then paint, alow paint to cure, I'd do a couple days otherwise it emits gaseous fumes that discolor the inside of the lenses. Good luck bro

 

If you can locate forum member Mr Zipps and contact him he has done a couple of these, (Blue Bat's for example), and he does good work. Ive met him in person and hes a good guy.
