Does anyone know where to get good looking dash kits for the Z? Most that I have seen have a very High gloss cheap finish on them. I would love some help as I have waisted countless HOURS already trying to locate a quality dash online for my Z. Thanks guys!

 

There are none in colors, the evo r cf dash is the nicest ive seen. Otherwise, get it painted.

I am definetly interested in going this route than painting the center console. The bodyshop I go to says it is labor intensive to paint the consoles. Couple of questions. To the guys that went to Suite E-grafx, did you send them your oem pieces? How long was the turnaround time? I really don't understand their pricing... Any help is appreciated.

 

for my dash (shifter and radio part) it was about $1100 because I didnt send my dash parts to them I use one they had in house. I think the core on that was about $400+ If you go this route then you have 10 days from the time you recive there parts to send your back if not you loose your core $$.

As for the center I think its about 500+ but what I do is find the parts off wrecked Z's and send those so I dont have down time with my car.

plan on doing my center in blue CF next week sometime then on to the rear strut tower

 

How much did you pay if u don't mind me asking? Also, can they paint to factory color?

 

they will paint for .80-1.00 per square inch

No the 400 is just the core charge if you dont send your factory parts.

 

Just checked my file the center console between the seats in blue cf is 546.25 if you send your factory part

 

While I am at it and were talking about this I will have my factory center console off in a week or so. I have a extra one I will send to suite E next week so if anybody want to do this mod and dosent feel like tearing there interior out and leaving it like that for 2 weeks I will be willing to sell mine. No need for 2 of them

 

Hey Pumped, thanks for all your help!!! I just got off the phone with Joe from Suite. I will be sending out my parts on Monday since my car will be in the shop anyways. He gave me a quote but I couldn't really understand what he was saying. I think he said something like $475 for 5 pieces(?) and $350 for the center console painted Liquid Aluminum. I'm just going to send him everything down the middle and call it a day. Your going carbon fiber right?

 

yea I had a hard time trying to understand him. Those prices sound about right for paint work. post some pics when you get them installed. Good luck

 

Good choice. Joe is a good guy, but he is a little hard to understand lol. I was debating weather to go with the painted or the CF. It came to the point where I flipped a coin to make my decision for me and I ended up with CF. I am anxious to see how yours turns out. Keep us posted.

 

just to let you guys know, there is a guy who does EXCELLENT paint work. Boogiemyke did my taillights and center console. the paint match could not be more perfect. he is very **** and makes sure that there is not a single imperfection in the paint. price is VERY reasonable too. check out

that suite e blue cf dash looks great, but those prices are ridiculous. Its like 600 for the dash and 500 for the center console... thats WAY too much.
