NISMO Bodykit complete **PICS**

I noticed the way that the weight was suspended in the mount. Definatly for shock absorbtion. My Z3 has some sort of counterweight in the read bumper and it came loose and was making a horrible rattling noise. I took it in and they were like "The counterweight in the rear bumper came loose so we tightened it up" Needless to say I wish they had just taken it out. "Weight, I don't need no stinking weight."
Those are some sweet wheels by the way.

Another question. How much ground clearance have you lost with the installation of the front lip? Is it significantly lower than stock?
Obviously, the Z already isn't that great with steep driveways, speed bumps and parking stops, I don't really want it to be any worse.

Not bad looking. I like the sideskirts, but the rear wing IMO makes the rear look sort of chunky. I think an extended version of the stock aero kit would probably look better. Also, the front spoiler is kind of funny. I was expecting it to look better. Maybe w/ some wheels and a dropped suspension it might be nicer..?

Awesome kit. By far the best one I've seen still.

I bought the whole kit from Japanparts.com. Thanks Graham.
- The kit was about $2400 US.
- The shipping was about $600 after insurance and import/customs fees. I had it airfreighted because I'm impatient. Regular shipping would have been much less. I wired the money from my bank so I saved the 5% fee but it took an extra 2 days to ship because transfers to Japan have to go through a clearing house in NY before they transfer to the bank in Japan.
- The painting cost about $800. This also includes fixing the scratches in the rear hatch that I caused when I removed the stock spoiler. Oops!
- I installed the kit myself so no extra charge there but I was quoted $65/hr for an install from a reputable local performance shop. They estimated 3hrs total.
Total: $3800

Yes, that is correct. The under body peices still attach in all the same places under the front of the bumper and the bumper is only slightly below those pieces (about 1/8"). Actually, with the NISMO bumper the factory front spoiler (the little plastic strip that is part of the aero pkg that hangs down in front) goes away and I think I actually gained about 1/4" of clearance in the front.
The sideskirts are probably slightly lower, but not by much. Because of their curves they have a liitle more "meat" at the front and back. Usually if you're going to scrape the sideskirts it's more toward the middle though.

I say leave it off. You know it's a 350Z...we know it's a 350Z...and if anyone else really wants to know they will come up and ask yu what kind of car it is.
It looks much cleaner w/ only the Nissan badge on there.
Too sweet, my friend...too sweet...

Thankfully he didn't charge me for the labor since I've been fixing his PC and now the rear deck looks better than the factory paint everywhere else on the car.
BTW, anyone in the Sacramento, CA area want a good body shop?

Shaun, don't put the 350Z emblem back on...the back looks cleaner like the front now...and you know what I'm talking about since you haven't told the others that you are going to put it back...

Everyone, go over to this thread and let me know what wheels I should get. Currently there are GT-7's in 2 colors but I'm still waiting to see the TE37's.
