anyone with a black 350z thinking of painting their front head light's housing black ?

 

can someone with good photoshop skills do one ?

 

Ive more than thought about it, I wanted to do that, powdercoat the handles, and get flat black rims, along with a 20% tint on a super black Z. yes it would look awesome but some complications arose.

1. I cannot seem to find anyone that knows which parts of the headlight need to remain reflective(I assume some of it acts as a reflector for the headlight)

2. no one has yet shared how to remove the headlight housing. or open it up, tho you can play with that if you manage to remove it first.

3. the handles are apparently plastic, which means no powder coating; and I do not paint anything on the car, it looks like ****.

and lastly, I do not have the money to buy the rims, or be the guinei pig for any of the previous 3 things if something should break or worse. I cant replace a cracked headlight.

 

That was the first thing that I thought the Z needed,..was Blk House headlights!!

I would have @least thought the JDM Z33 would have had em as well!

But someone needs to do that ,.hahahah Not me,.I had the JDM lights on my RSX-S and JDM ITR lights on my INtegra and that pretty much "made" the car!! Looks way better then Chrome housing.A little too much Chrome on the front of the Z,..but Don't get me wrong I still love my headlights!

 

there was the Advan Z with black headlight housing, but they did one step better, they were carbon fiber. very sweet. but apparently no one sells them.
