That is plexi glass cooked in a oven and then shaped to the roof. Then layered with a brushed aluminum "overlay". There is also a blue led behind the badge. You really cant see it lit in the pics but the whole piece glows.

Not really sure how hard it would be to make but it seems it would just be a matter of going down to the local HD or Lowes and by some 3/8ths or 1/2"plexi. Get the right blades for a jig saw and cut the piece to size. Heat it in a low temp oven and start shaping...heat...shape...heat...shape till you get it the shape you want. Put a backer board behind the headliner then drill and screw the plexi in place. You can run l.e.d or even fiber optic lighting up to it through the headliner.
Most places that make commercial signs can also lazer cut designs into plexi.
Back years ago when I was doing some competitive autosound stuff...I had PG logos cut into my amp-rack covers that housed my Phoenix Gold amps. I edge lit the plexi with hidden neon and at night...just the logo outline would lite up. I love plexi.

Thanks
Thanks for that explination. I might actually be able to do it if I was actually a handyman. Much to my dismay the extent of my handyman skills goes little beyond jiggling the toilet handle when the water will not stop running. So that brings me to my next question to mark: Would you consider making an additional full piece for sale? I am confident I could do the actual install.

I'll see if they can make another one.
