Strut CoveR?
Im looking to paint my strut cover black(super black to match the body) so i don't see the reflection everyday in my rear view mirror. does anyone konw where i can get one painted?
i was looking for something like this but NON-Carbon Fiber and lil cheaper.

what I did was remove the cover and install them just like a window tint. I used a hairdrier to heat it so it sticks. The Z emblem is held on by plastic so you can remove it and restick on the cover....I'll post pics on mine tommorow so you get a better idea of it..

youll have to pry off the Z on the bar. CAREFULLY, it breaks very very very very easily. use about 4 tiny flathead screwdrivers and slowly, painstakingly pry it off. Apply the vinyl and then snap the emblem back in place.

Instead of painting, I just put some fabric over the silver part of the strutbar. I love it...no more reflection and the car looks darker from the rear now. I'll try to get a pic posted.
