SeekingLicense Plate Frame
The link worked for me, from the page;
"Choose a stainless steel License Plate Frame in satin, black pearl or polished steel. Available with and without the Z®logo."
For better pictures of the frames check out http://www.courtesyparts.com/350z/frames.html
Prices are the same at both sites.

I've got the Nissan Black Pearl frame (VQracer's first picture above). It's stainless steel and depending on the angle, it either looks black or silver. Very nice piece but it's a bit expensive for a frame.

Anyone know if it will fit below the bumper if I'm planning to custom mount my plate? I'm going to "Jimmy rig" it...but would like the edges to be cleaned up.

Looks great on Daytona Blue.
So to those that have seen the various finishes in person: What is your vote on a Silverstone? Black Pearl....or Satin Stainless?? I personally wouldn't go with the polished stainless because it doesn't match anything on my car (except the chrome fender flares
) HA
) HA
I've got the Black Pearl on my SS and it looks good. It doesn't stick out like a black or silver would. You get different looks depending on the angle. A brushed aluminum would be good too if you could find one. I've seen all 3 colors and this is the best for SS. Also the most expensive...worth it...maybe.
I plan on manufacturing a brushed aluminum plate to match the door handles. I will try and design the Z with the 3 square dots down the middle and on each side for the bottom section of the plate, and I'll probably leave the top section blank.
I've been planning on this for the last 3 months, but haven't done anything yet. I'll try and get my sh#t together and have a drawing done by next week.
I'll try and get pricing for various quantities if there is any interest, otherwise I'll just have the shop make a couple and see if they'll do it for free.
I'll post pictures of the drawing so if you know any shops you can use it to fabricate your own.

If they turn out as nice (or better) than that which is currently available...I'd be interested because I haven't bought mine yet. Guess it would have to be $35 or less unless it looks significantly better, but I think brushed stainless is a better bet because aluminum whitens so quickly with oxidation...the door handles aren't actually aluminum...so they don't do this.
Well, I'll probably get the frame clear anodized, which will prevent oxidation, but I don't know for how long.
The anodize turns the outer .0002" of aluminum into aluminum oxide, which is basically a ceramic (it is so thin that it doesn't really change the look). It should be very resistant to oxidation initially, but since the layer is so thin I don't know how long it will last.
I'll post an update when I get my crap together.
