Yup the locking clip works perfectly, no tape needed, it locks in place with a snap! no way its coming undone.

The lights work like a charm. Had to trim all three notches, so it would fit. Went in pretty quickly once it was sorted out.

And yes, this procedure is for installing the JDM Clears only.

Here some crappy quick pics

Ahh at last

Does anyone know if this can be done to the 06 JDM Clear Tails? Any input?

THESE ARE SICK!

Anyone at Performance have any input? What are the screws for on the back of the 06 tails for?

WTF??? That's my photochop!

But I hope somebody can do it, although I heard opening the taillights up is extremely difficult, if not impossible.

Sorry for misleading you guys, this is a chop from another thread that BhashaZ did.

But did you just say that to say that or have you heard something that we haven't Jason?

If they do make these in Black I will bet they will sell 10x better than any 06 tails reg or clear. Given the amount of Z (of any color) with black/chrome lip wheels these would go hand in hand with those.

Keep us updated!

yeah i thought about clearcorners but they said they wouldn't be offering that, I thought about just having them open them and close them and I could have a body shop do the painting but don't know if they even open them up to mod theirs?
