Here is the updated order list:

11708, 11729, 11745, 11763, 11798, 11812, 11815, 11824, 11891, 11932, 11943, 11980, 11986, 12002, 12008, 12107, 12136, 12280, 12460, 12477, 12512, 12519, 12540, 12639, 12725, 12752, 12839, 12857, 13037.

I dont know if you guys read Jeffs post from last week but we have a pallet of these tail lights on order, 100 sets. In addition I also have on order the ones for the backorders. Apparently there are about a total of 55 sets through out the Nissan warehouse across the country so hopefully we will be seeing my orders any day now.

So what does it mean if I see my order number? Does it mean it is still in backorder or shipped?

That is the current backorder list in that order. From that list, you should be able to tell where you stand and give you a rough idea of when you might get your tail lights.

I hope you guys don't get all of them. I know a couple of us around here are waiting on some we ordered @ our local dealership. They price matched you guys and we didn't have to pay for shipping.

That really is a shame. You'd think manufacturer would have totally resolved this breakage issue by now. It’s a good thing that Performance Nissan is double checking this fragile merchandise before it ever gets to the consumer. Imagine waiting ALL this time, only to have those long awaited boxes arriving with its respective contents broken into little pieces.

YIKES!!

NISSAN has its own freight company that delivers parts from the dealers local PDC (Parts Distribution Center) to the dealerships parts department...

That is if the part came from their local PDC

You can see on the label if it was a Cross Ship (from another PDC) These items come via FEDEX Next Day Air or Fedex Ground.

They have better luck getting NISSAN Freight to pay the claim, but its usually denied on tail lights and things like that...

With FEDEX when they come to inspect the packages they are not to their standards since the packing of the tail lights is made for FREIGHT shipping rather then "FedEX Shipping" with basicly no packing materials on the inside...

We have a supprize for half a dozen of you...

how hard is it to prevent further damages to these doggone tail lights?
stuff crumbled news papers in the boxes first and use big red "FRAGILE" stickers on the outside of all the boxes should solve the problem....

hey Jason....does it mean half a dozen orders will be filled by the end of this week?
if so........there is a "God".

well, we fully re-package all the tail lights that we ship out...

NISSAN doesnt... they literally just put a piece of paper over the lens and ship it...

At latest friday... they are being boxed up now though... we might run out of packing materials... we werent expecting them all to arrive un-cracked...

You guys wouldn't BELIEVE the packing job that Performance is doing on these lights. Big box with packing material around two smaller boxes. The smaller boxes are more packing material around each tail light. Each tail light is wrapped in 200 YARDs of shrink rap! It took me fifteen minutes to unwrap each tail light but they were in perfect condition.

Thanks, Jason and Andy!
