+1 on that. I would like to get one of those.

 

ok guys since i was complaining about the 06 tails being too bright red, ive just ordered a set of 3/10 tint overlays from BlueBat. These arent as dark as the regular 6/10 most of the guys here go for.....which is too dark for my liking

ill post some pics when i get them on.......personally i think 3/10 will be the perfect tint for the 06s

I'm getting mine sprayed/smoked to a shade a hair darker than 3/10. Like you, I think 6/10 is too dark, but I also think that the 3/10 will not be dark enough, especially on the 06 taillights. I'll keep you posted since I'll be doing it sometime in January.

EDIT: This is once I also BUY the 06 tails...lol

im using the overlays as a test, if they look good, ill prob get them sprayed as well in the future

im just thinking now, would the overlays make the lense still look glossy, or are the overlays a matt finish? Same with tinting......?

The overlays are still relatively glossy, but not as glossy as the current lense. That is why I am going to get them sprayed, since they will still look glossy. Overlays are a good choice if you are still undecided though.

I actually may end up getting the lights done sooner, but we'll just have to wait and see how things pan out.

 

My Overlays have a semi gloss finish to them . Looking forward to your pics .

btw, someone on the forum used my 6/10 tint on their 06 taillamps, turned out nice as well.

I installed the new lights last weekend on my 2003 but noticed that some of the little plastic bolt covers don't fit securely (almost lost 2). Is this a common problem? Did they make different ones for '06? My rinky-dink dealer doesn't even have a parts listing for 2006 yet.
