Default Added a few things to my Z

Recently added a few parts to my Z. Purchased Veilside V1 (urthethane)sideskirts from Intense Motorsports, thanks for the good price and quick shipping Darren. I couldn't find any install help here on line using search, only the same questions I had, unanswered. Bottom line, I purchased some aluminum phillips machine screws, used 4 1/4 x 1", one each at the front of the front wing, one each at the back of the rear wing, and 6 1/4 x 3.4", one each on the front wings and two each on the back wings. The 1" screws on the front wings replace a plastic rivet, so I also needed two 1/4" hex nut course thread aluminum and of course, aluminum washers all around. The stock screws barely reached in most places, and did not reach at the rear of the rear wings. I used aluminum so rust wouldn't be a problem. They worked great.

I also purchased a Seibon CF VT hood from Tim Hall at JSC Speed, Inc, (www.jsc speed.com), shipped right away (recieved in less than a week), it came in a Seibon box, has the seibon metal tag, looks and fit great, no shipping damage, fantastic price! I will paint it later, but it looks nice for now, even old people were asking me questions about it. Don't see much CF around here.

I also added orange armrests from www.leatherseats.com, and the lighted doorsills I purchased some time ago on ebay, thanks dude from Canada who bought them and then sold them to me.
Last I added a led above my oil temp gauge which normally is green, but blinks red upon sensing radar or laser. It is an extra alert that I finally got installed for my built in escort radar/laser shifter system.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks again to Darren at IM Racing, Tim at JSC Speed, and Leatherseats.com.

Default continue pictures.

Here are the other pictures. Sorry for the bad quality pictures and dirty car, but if I cleaned the car it would be too dark to snap pics.

Thanks for the postive comments. As for the NISMO black lip, that is my animal guard. I plan on changing to the Aerosync NISMO bumper or the Stillen Series II, haven't made up my mind. When I do, I will have the bumper and hood painted Lemans Sunset, all the million rock chips fixed, and clear coat the works.

Add a bit of dash to the door panels, other than that, no change.

I really don't like Le Mans Sunset but your car looks clean. I think the CF breaks up the vast expanse of orange nicely. I would leave it how it is. If you could do the wing and skirts in CF it would be even sweeter. Which is weird because I don't like the look of CF either on body parts because it looks unfinished. Your car is the exception to every rule I have. I don't like LS. I don't like unfinished CF. Put them together and it looks pretty nice. Who would have thought?

Oil temp, Boost Pressure, A/F ratio, Laser/Radar warning LED.
Yes, hooked to car, not decoration.

Next time your under there, you may want to add a little loctite to the screws on the underwings...they have a habit of coming loose.
