What's so special about the rear turn signals? Are they led as well or what?

to each his own. I think they look even better lit up. I think I'll be buying those.

 

They do have a bump too... I need more pics, I am kind of neutral about them at this time.

 

Well I just got back from SEMA today and these taillights do have a hump in them. Not sure of the design as to why they didn't shape them like the OEM but they are more squared off so to say. That green bomb they had them on had a wide body kit so it really didn't look all that bad. But on a regular Z I think they would look crappy. I wouldn't buy them just cause of the shape. The shape is worse than the cheesy Z pattern. I vote the '06 taillights altho I'm sure those are over priced as with anything else you get from the dealer and I'm even a wholesaler with them.

Different but not my style. I don't think their ugly though. Sort of like your girl-friend changing hair color on you it might grow on you but it's not natural. To me the shape of the lights is one of those unique Z-ness things that makes it a Z and not a G ... a BMW ... a Maxima ...

 

since when did things not being made by a reputable company become "rice?" From now on please refrain from using the term "rice" unless you know what really means.

BTW those tail-lights are not too bad considering the alternatives.

 

and some people hate on my 06 tail lights Those are FREAKIN UGLY!

looking at the alternatives, i think the '06 taillights look best if you want leds.

 

with the led's off, kinda looks like the new Infiniti FX tails.
