I wouldn't think JP would make anything that ugly. Sorry dude. Nice paint though.

any idea if jp usa is making a g35 coupe kit. because honestly the ones out there now suck. the nicest one ive seen was a custom kit and the guy lived in indonesia. if you have any say at all with jp usa rickdogg please ask them to come up with some thing that keeps (or accentuates)the stock body lines of the g. and preferably a wide body.

I know the owner very well, so I can ask him and see what he says. I brought it up before as just a basic question and obviously didn't push for the R & D to make one since I don't own one personally

Just an update for everyone. JP has been taking a while since they are doing the R & D over in the states. Mainly, they wanted to finalize another kit for another car and ship both prototypes at the same time over to Japan for final approval and production.

The Z kit will be shipping out next week or the following week and the first batch of kits will be ready to order this Summer, which is not too far away.

Okay here is an update. Japan has given it a go and production is starting next month. I should have the first one on my car in about 6 weeks, maybe sooner. Orders will probably be open to the public in about 8-9 weeks. Just fyi

Sweet! Any clue as to what it'll be constructed from? I want this kit as soon as it hits the states.

It will be fiberglass. I am not sure if you have ever seen the Fiberglass that JP makes, but I love it.

It is fiberglass that is very strong. JP does not have FRP. They either have full on fiberglass or Polyurethane. The poly however is not going to be used for this kit. I prefer fiberglass anyways as it is easier to repair after track abuse

can't wait for the new design. Would it be the same price range as the old one?
