If you remove the OEM wing you will have holes.

As for the rear wiper, do a search. Somebody here was able to remove it entirely.

The wiper motor assembly is very easy to remove; why would you just want to take the shaft off? I don't think that can be done.

ya you can leave the motor in there... but the whole cover has to be able to go thru a certain amount once covered and with the motor in there thats just added weight and wont do anything... taking it out is easy.

with hatch open pull back plastic panel its all rivits, then take a 10mm ratchet and take off the 3 bolts, then twist counter clockwise with motor in one hand and wiper blade in other, you have to twist HARD, it will finally break loose twist off and come right out... then find something like a sink whole filler and put it in there, seal it with a silicone of some kind and boom your done. Heres a link to kinda describe it a little better.

Easy mod for amatuers and it looks SO much better!!!

EDIT:::: sorry forgot it wont let you post, just take the *'s away in link
