Default simple HEADLIGHT comparison!?

I was just wonderin,
Between Xenon Headlight and non HID headlight (from Base model), are they basically the samething accept the HID kit?
Im thinkin they are all the same size.

so if i take clear front part out from non xenon headlight, and put it in my HID headlight,. it would fit right?

what "clear" part are you talking about? the HID and Halogen lights share the same housing, however you would need an HID kit to refit your halogen setup to HID. you'll need ballasts, harness, D2R bulbs, etc. your best bet would be to contact a forum member named Jun. he sells OEM kits cheap.

yeah, i was doing my Clear diffuser conversion and melted the front housing (cover) of the headlight. everything is alright.
today, it was raining all day down here. but it seems like everything was fine.

just wanted to replace the cover housing of the headlight.

They are not the same. The reflector assembly in the HID equipped headlight is completely different than the Halogen one.

What he said, the "projector" part and the reflector behind it are different. You can use Jun's kit to swap in some HID's, it'll look pretty good, but no where near the stock beam pattern of a stock HID Z.

so now, what im asking is...
would nonxenon (basemodel) headlight front housing fit my model headlight?
i think they are all just the same size?

i got a deal on headlight. Non Xenon ones for 250 each... and Xenon ones for 300 each.

im debating right now.

so you guys are saying the non xenon ones would fit on Xenon headlights right? all same size?
