I'm planing on getting lambo doors for my car. My question is I have seen some going for 1000 and even 1500 dollars and some going for around 300 and 500 bucks. All of them look the same and they all specificly for the 350z bolt-on. Does any one have lambo doors? how much were they? What is the difference between them?

 

I know similarities, both types are totaly gay..
lambo doors are the new rice, just like carbon hoods and alezza were 2 years ago. In few months every loser in a civic will have them

 

don't buy the cheap ones, Go with Verticle door or LSD. If its a daily driven car get LSD, if its a show car go with Vert door kit. Your looking at $1500-3000 for a real setup. Those cheap ones require alot of extensive work to the actual hinging before you can even install them. If you do a search on vert doors you'll see alot of discussion on this anc evidence on why to not buy knockoffs.

in my opinion the Z with an aggressive bodykit and lambo doors can be very very sexy...
go with the more expensive (vertical door inc) kits better fitment better/stronger hinges and less labor intensive(labor @ 70-80 bucks an hour isnt cheap)

ur looking at 2-3000 bucks + aggressive bodykit + aggressive rims

Just curious, what is the minimum price your car has to be in order for you to have lambo doors without being as you mentioned "rice"? You mentioned "20000" isn't a worthy price, I am guessing you have a number in mind for when Lambo doors are not "rice"?

What if someone put $20,000 mods on their car, are they worthy of lambo doors then?

What if I bought a 300ZX TT that was worth $60,000 in it's days for $15,000, could I technically get lambo doors?

Or is it only worthy for cars worth over $100,000?

If I got lambo doors, I'd get them for the fact that I can finally stop accidently kicking my freakin' door when I get out. But I think lambo doors are nice and very practical. I'd match it with a nice kit 'n that'd be done with. I would never buy any knockoffs for the Z, ever....so buy the real deal lambo doors!

In defense of somebody who likes them (not me) they are almost a neccesity on a Z because the door need (for some people who are tall) to be opened almost all the way, in order to be able to get in and out and in a tight parking space you could be screwed, unless you can crawl across the gear shifter via the passenger side.

I think most would laugh at somebody with those doors on anything but a Lambo but that's just me. There will always be some people from the sticks who will be amazed at lambo doors on any car

 

Lambo doors don't belong on a 350z. They don't belong on an NSX either (I own one). Sorry, only a few cars look good with lambo doors. I'm a car designer. I know what I'm talking about. Lambo doors on a 350z is a little lacking in class and taste.

Proportions of the Z are not suitable for other doors. Think about this way. If the Lambo Gallardo doesn't have them.....Again, if any opinion should count, it should be from an automotive designer.

 

thats the point lambos need them, have you ever seen real lambo? imagine getting in and out in a european city! its more function less style

todays lambo fans are losers, dont you remember alezza hype few years ago, it took few months for everybody to realize how stupid and ugly that was
same thing with lambo. For the 5th time, most lambo doors are on civics and other crap out there.
