Default Veilside Ver.1 firment issues?

I just spent 2 hours trying to get my urethane Version 1 lip to fit.

The center peice that overlaps the lower part of my bumper is too short by a quarter of an inch on both sides and I can NOT get the end peices to go on the ends in the wheel wells. Also the holes are no where near close to matching up.

I can get the drivers side on fine, but there is no way the passenger side will fit. It got so bad I took the entire front bumper off the car and it still would not go on.

I read about the carbon fibre ones cracking and I can see why. My end peices are supposed to be a 90 degree angle are now a 45!

Anyone else have issues with the lip being too short?

How much did you pay for it? You sure its authentic? I've never heard of fitment issues with the real deal, though its not impossible.

Yes, it's authentic. Paid normal price from a popular vendor that advertises on this sight.

I got it on finally but it still has gaps on the middle peice, so you can see paint on the ends were it goes over the stock bumber. I figured it would be too much trouble to get another one, so I'll have to live with it.

The middle is just too short for some reason. Maybe it was a bad batch.
