if fitment isn't great how is it repaird if it isn't planned on being paitned?

With carbon fiber parts, if it doesn't fit great, you're out of luck. You don't want to file the edges because you will damage the gel coating. You can't heat it up and bend it becuase it just doesn't work that way. CF is VERY strong as a unit, but when forced, it will break, and it won't be pretty.

Basically, if it doesn't fit right, you're screwed. Make sure to look for quality, and don't let the cheapest price lure you in unless you know it's from a trusted source...

Good luck with your CF issue. I hope it isn't too bad. If you have fitment issues, you should contact the supplier asap and let them know. They should be able to help you out.
