I was thinking about getting yellow headlight overlays for the chrome silver Z. Whats your guys opinions on them. I think they would look hot. Anybody got pics of a silver Z with yellow overlays? Thanks

I think they look cool on track cars, but tacky on street cars.

It will inhabit your lighting ability on the streets somewhat from what I've heard. I also think it's not a good idea.

I thought one of the keys points of HID is so the headlight do NOT look yellow. Now you want to make HID lights yellow. Ummm…sure…OK.

Go for them

GT Yellow

HID Blue

Our colored kits are made from a premium 22mil thick softened vinyl so they will have the added benefit of being durable and actually protecting your lights too!

We also have them in a 25mil clear for those not looking for a color change, but still looking to protect your lights from the ravages of the road and track.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Yellow light provides a better spectrum of light for foggy or rainy days. That's why street lights are HPS lights in the yellowish spectrum. It's not always a matter of looks. But, I do like the look. I've considered it myself.

One of our people here lived in Colorado for years and swears by yellow lights in the snow! Can't be beat.
