I'd pay about 1k for a good dry CF Hood, THAT CLEARS plenum mods, FI systems etc., and good fitment. Top Secret makes freat hoods, but expensive, so not too many people have them.

 

Unfortunately the price you are looking for is impossible. Look at a Seibon that is a fake CF hood and they charge $800 to make a profit.

I have some interior work I want to do but can't source any standard black CF material. Having to make do with normal fiberglass for the moment...

You can get an infused hood to just as light and as strong as a pre-preg carbon hood without the extra cost.......

 

infused hood ........8-10 lbs......no problem.
