do a search on shift **** install, there's tons. Some had a really hard time taking it off, like me, the **** was practically destroyed. Anyways, if you have someone that can hold the shifter metal shaft with a vice grip while you turn the top **** wrapped in a towel or some rubber innertube type stuff it isn't as bad, but mine was really stuck and i ended up destroying all the leather off the **** and broke some of inner plastic. Also be careful threading on the new nismo ****, i easily stripped the plastic threads when i was tightening the new ****. Anyways, good luck.

For some reason i changed mine the other night and i just twisted it right off so easily........ i guess i risked damaging the transmission by turning it hard left but it just broke its seal at a certain point and came right off
