Yeah, I guess at this point though, I think I'll just pop the damn thing off and not bother with the trim, only because I'm not going to be using any fasteners with the new emblem (3M tape)... I was prepared to do it the right way, but without knowing for sure what the right way is, I'm going to pop it. I can't spend any more time trying to figure it out. lol

The holes are just for proper allignment. No fastener behind them. They use doublesided tape
