my "new" front bumper!
did a little modification to the stock bumper, removed the grill and replaced it with black mesh... let me know what you guys think!
I tried to get head on shots but they came out so dark that you cant even tell theres a grill there...

haha sorry totally looked over it, i actually drilled holes in some of the plastic area behind the mesh and used black zip ties to keep it in, unless you lay on your stomach in front of the grill you cant even see them, it works great

hmm the edges? not sure i follow what you are asking, but hopefully itll be covered when i say that i cut out a perfect fit for the grill area of mesh, there wasnt any folding of the mesh or anything, and then through the holes at the top i just ran zip ties through at the corners and top middle of the bumper, in back of the mesh, and it holds it in, what about the edges are you asking?

oh i know what youre talking about, and no i didnt do that, i guess it would prevent any scratching, but see i painted the grill before and after putting it on (using a lot of tape and tarp to cover everything but the grill area) and in doing so it sort of glued the mesh to the bumper with the paint, so it doesnt move around or scratch anything

cool. I am going to work on some sort of mesh for my grill also. I have the stillen series 2 fasica though so I have to come up with something custom to cover my intercooler and protect it from rocks.
