With the stock or equivilent strut bar, most that I've looked at will not.

why would they advertise their product as CF, then? that's illegal to be false advertising.

you mean plenum spacer? If you have stock plenum + strut bar then NO PROLBEM with CF hood (or any after market hood)

If you have plenum spacer then you can't not use strut bar. The strut bar will hit the hood and you can't close the hatch. That is the problem i have now. I can't use my JIC strut or OEM strut. Been running without strut bar for the last 4 months. hehehe

bubble, that's really bad to be running around without a strut bar. Everytime you punch it, you can deform the frame.
I guess I won't be getting a seibon anytime soon. My AAM clears the strut, but it's raised with 3 washers. I have even go SSV or even a thicker spacer later, so...

i have kinetix v4 and a seibon hood no problems. Also i hear it's not bad to run without a strut, i've even heard of some guys preferring the Z without it, personally i keep it on though.

it will have some sort of effect in the long run as the engine might sink down. I'll need to change the plenum and put back my strut bar. In the look for used SSV..
