So i bought some ABSDynamics.com side skirts, ns style carbon fiber to match my front bumper and they came today. Absolutley HORRIBLE fitment, and they're carbon fiber so there isnt really any way to modify them. Claimed "NO MODIFICATION NEEDED, DIRECT FITMENT" and its far from that. Gaps everywhere, drilled holes do not come close to lining up, arrived damaged, and allignment was way off (dont think it was the shipper's fault, they were massively wrapped in bubblewrap). I only tried fitting 1 skirt, and it seemed to be warped in areas and also molded poorly. I couldnt even get the door to close!

I have pictures if anyone wants to see, i sent ABS dynamics an email today, i dont know if i will get new ones or what, the bad thing is i bought them from a absdynamics distributor on ebay and his auction claimed no returns (however they also claimed perfect fitment so...).

What do you guys think i should do?

Also if you are going to buy CF products i highly recommend Extreme dimensions products AKA carbon creations.

You are better off just getting Polyurethane skirts just to be safe i dont mess with carbon fiber. Youll get your money back but it wont be anytime soon.

 

Post the Pic's. I just orderd the Nismo Style Carbon Fiber Spoiler. I hope it doesn't have these same problems.

if you used paypal to buy it from ebay, then you can open a dispute on paypal. just say you got damaged goods and paypal will have you return the item to the seller and get your money back. it will take some time to go through the whole process but you can at least get your money back.

We had the same issue with their sideskirts..Absolute garbage IMO...Plus thats what you get for shopping on EBAY...Ebay has become such a BS game it is not even funny.

 

WHATEVER YOU DO... DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM CARBON CREATIONS. I bought a front CF lip and that thing was JUNK.. Fitment?? There was NO FITMENT that lip would never have worked on any Z. The weaves were all messed up. Good thing the shop where i got it from sent it back to them and gave me my money back.

 

if you want carbon sides, you should look in to c-west.

What a sad, sad waste of carbon fiber, such a beatiful material and some company f*cks it all up.
