Default Varis CF Duct... lowers resale value?

Agree/Disagree?

Been thinking about doing this mod for a while, but IMO, the Varis air duct is a bit of an acquired taste... so much so that I think it may diminish resale value.

Any comments on this one way or another?

If you're very concerned with resale value, you should get the Varis front bumper and paint it to match your car. When it comes time to sell, off goes the varis bumper, on goes the OEM bumper. (Car retains it's value as if it was never modded and you can sell the Varis bumper seperately for more $$)

If the varis air duct had an actual purpose past looking pretty id say do it. Ive watched two of my buddies now put one in.........its just painful watching the dremel cut away at that bumper.

You might be able to swap bumpers with a local owner before selling, who knows.

a lot of mods will lower the resale value of the car unfortunately. Especially those that cannot be removed. But if you're in a bind, you should be able to find someone to swap with pretty easily.

There are plenty of stock bumper covers on ebay cheap, it's not hard to find a new one.
