To put it plain and simple:
a) A car with 20,000$ in visual upgrades but only intake/exhaust perfomance-wise=jackass. I once saw a Civic with about 10G worth of CF parts and wheels and etc with the plain old single cam 1.6L putting down a staggering, tyre-smoking 92whp. You'll be the same jackass with a more expensive car. You'll have to do AT THE VERY LEAST a twin turbo, with all the bells and whistles (and keep in mind, if you go ***** deep on the esthetics you can't cheap out on the performance upgrades), etc to make sure that your mechanics catch up with your looks. Now you are wondering very near the used Aston Martin price territorry...
2)Take a nice clean Z with some tasteful but minor cosmetic upgrades (lip, spoiler, wheels) and people will say: "a Z enthusiast with a taste". Make it look like a different car, it will be like "stupid broke-*** poser who can't afford a real Aston Martin". You'll be the laughing stock of the exotic car community...
3)If this this the "it" kit now, something else will be that next year. You will look like an outdated show car. This is like having a 20K neon windshield fluid squirters...
4)Any accident will force you to drive around with a part missing for three month (assuming that you'll have the funds to purchase a replacement right away), or better yet, put the stock part back on and make it REALLY match.
All in all, any kit that makes the Z look like another exhisting car, in my opinion, is dumb. Just like the Kenstyle designers had Ferrari posters all over their studio, just like the people that designed Stillen Version II spent too much time secretively lusting for Carrera Turbos (sorry, USN_HM, but I hope that the Top Gun kit will work out..), etc.
The new Z design is an instant classic all by itself and anything done to alter it rather the accentuate it, at least to me, makes no sence. I think that the Z's lines are too great looking to make it look like another car...

Yeah, but these are nothing compared to the new Astons. Man, '07 V8 Vantage is where it's AT! I'd give my left nut for one of those.
