Not very good, i got the darkest tint(6/10 shade) and it greatly reduced visibility. The 3/10 would probably be better. Last night i had to have my high beams on just to compensate for the overlay. I like the look but this morning i took the fronts off, but i'm still happy with the way the back looks.

Those house are freakin sweet! A house like that in Cali would run in the high $800's or low $1 millions.......

Nice rears by the way.....not feeling the fronts!

Get your windows tinted 20% at the least.

Thumbs up

Nice job on the install There are pics plus a step by step guide on applying my overlays in the sticky above . If you get airbubbles, simply pop them with a pin and apply heat and pressure. Usually the Overlay will flatten out after sitting out in the sun. As far as the 6/10 tint goes, all about personal preference. I personally like the subtleness of my lighter 3/10 tint, plus there is very little if any affect on light output .

You guys mind if I add your pics to my Gallery?

guide to applying my overlays: http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=34653

Add me, i'm in. I'm like a chick in heels, looks are all it, who cares about practicality. It's all about looks.
If you can't see, get glasses. I can see fine.

Default let u guyz know

this is what happend to my head lights.
i installed the overlays maybe about 6 months ago. so today i dicided to tale them off. well i got my blow dryer to heat up the overlay . it came off np. but there was alot of dry glue or what ever u call that stuff hard to come off... actually a pain in the ***, but the main problem that i notice is that all around my head light it has like cracks at least 2 inchs from the out side towards the inside. now i don't know if it's because of the overlay not letting the light out , that maybe heat the lens too much( but i ask my self well some guys even put ther head light in the oven) but one thing is for sure they were not lake that when i installed the over lays.... i know batmobile is a cool guy and everything but i wouln'd do this to my car again.. now that lil trick is gonna cost me 2 new head lights... so my advice to u guyz thats just put them on ... better take them off asap.. before is too late.

I've sold these the last few years with no major issues at all after they were removed. In fact, I sported full smoke on my Headlights for at least a year before deciding to go a different route. I didn't have any marks left on my headlights after removing the Overlays. Not sure why it happened to mono11's. I know it happened to one other person a while back, but we could never really pinpoint where it came from. I've gotten customers in the past years switching over from full smoke overlays to one of my eyelid Overlays, just to change the look. No issues, other than alittle residue which can be easily removed with goo off. Alot of companies sell these nowadays, and it's very rare when you hear of this type of problem. I know a few people have had this issue in the past with their headlights, but they didn't even have any Overlays on them to begin with.

Sorry to hear that. I'm sure you'll be able to find a set soon, since alot of people are converting to 06 headlamps, I'm thinking of doing the same myself . Good Luck!
