Default Pics of Bat's Overlays on a Chrome Silver

Just got my overlays from BlueBatomobile in today and decided to put them on myself. I couldn't find any tint dealers nearby to do it, they all said they don't do headlights or tails...pfft. Fine i'll do it myself.

Here's the pics. I still have quite a few bubbles that hopefully i can get out. Anybody have tips for doing this, it seems like it might be impossible.

Unfortunately my clear blinkers from courtesy nissan haven't showed up yet, but i wanted to post pics anyway. I think i am going to get the windows tinted now to match the dark overlays. What do you guys think?

I think that they look better on a dark colored car. I like the house across the street with the red front door.

Yeah, the front smoked looks ugly, your car looks like an alien. What looks alot better, is if u smoke (painting flat black) the inner bezel of the headlight....

Not too into the front, however I do have the same setup on my CS Z. I used nightshade (it's a spray). I figured I wont be returning them to stock anytime soon, I'm probably getting the 06 tails.

Rear looks good. If you have bubbles, try taking a tiny pin or needle and poking a single hole in the bubble. Then press on and around the bubble to get all the air out. If the bubbles are big, this will probly leave a little rinkle in the tint, so take a hairdryer and heat up the tint carefully, that should shrink any wrinkles. That should work pretty nicely.

I have CS as well and a set of the tail overlays sitting in the garage. Looking at these pice has made me decide to wait until I get my windows tinted before I put them on. Leaving the headlights alone as well as the rear signals, as they blend in with the silver; I just want dark tails to make the whole car silver and black w/ tinted windows.

Additionally, I'm nervous about putting them on at all. I'm a perfectionist and if they come out with wrinkles and bubbles all over, I just won't be happy with them and off they'll come.

One thing's for sure: that large Nissan hamburger on the rear looks WAY too big.

For me the fronts were a PITA to do because of how many curves the headlight has. If you want it to be perfect i'd try and get a pro to do it.

Oh and right on about the hamburger, but atleast its a Z emblem and not Nissan.

I was going to get these too until I found out how much they reduce the light output. The Z is hard enough to see at night as is. I want my lights to be as bright as they can be...

Yeah, I think bat said they will reduce light output by as much as 30% if you go with the darkest ones. But then again you don't have to get the darkest ones. But still that is a safety issue if you ask me...
