Actually Importlife is working on a custom body kit. From pencil to fiberglass.
Before you rip us on the fiberglass, there are pros and cons to both fiber glass and urethane. For now we are using fiberglass. We took some ideas from existing kits but our focus was to create something that has the wow effect, yet can look like it was from the factory.
We will be debuting the kit at Hot Import Nights Philadelphia, under the Toyo Tires booth, March 15.
Stay tuned!

I like the front ends that retain more of the original character of the car. The Esprit, Vertex, VeilSide I and HKS (even though it's a bit more extreme) are probably my favs.
I don't like the really drastic ones that take away from the original "character" of the car. Adding to it is fine, taking away is bad.

Well it seems like everyone is anxious to get the latest body kit but are exceedingly dissapointed with the offerings!
Some good news, I have made arrangements with a local company in NYC to manufacture a custom body kit for my 350Z (no pun intended).
We will be using this car as our marketing vehicle for 2003 at various shows on the East Coast.
I can't post pics yet but here is a preview...
The talented person who PS'ed this is working with Importlife on this body-kit project.
The full kit will consist of:
- front bumper replacement
- rear bumper replacement
- new rear wing
- front fenders
- rear fenders
- side skirts
- hood
- roof spoiler
The material is fiberglass. I know its not the fabric of choice, and many prefer ABS Plastic or Urethane. But the quality of this fiberglass will be up to par with the best out there. And there are pros/cons to all the diff materials.
Customers who are refered through Importlife.com will receive a 10% discount. I will let you know in March how to redeem that. The kit will be debuting at HIN Philly on March 15, under the Toyo Tire booth.
Customers will be able to get only portions of the kit as well.
I personally have not been impressed with any of the kits, other than the Nismo S Tuned. And we at Importlife asked each other, "Why convince ourselves into buying a body kit we don't love?"
Maybe you wont like the kit on my car either. No problem there either. I am just letting you know the release date of yet another kit to consider. So you might want to hold onto the cash a bit.

The best kit so far is the nismo. It still basicaly keeps the nice lines of the original car the way it was desgned. The R tune is awsome. the others are way to wild for ME.

seems to be the only one thats an actual improvment over stock, it kind of looks like a more natural evolution from the 300ZX front end too.
