Default Clear bra

Does anyone know if the Xpel or 3M clear bras can be removed without damaging the paint, if a problem develops? I know they say it won't peel, yellow etc. I'm also sure Enron said Oh yeah we're secure, also. It sound like a good idea but I would not want to have to repaint my car in a couple of years. Anyone know of someone with long experience with this product.
