The flip up door to my navigation broke...the motor burnt out, went to a Nissan dealership and getting a new motor and door did anybody else have this problem especially this early????

I had the window thing replaced in like 3 weeks of owning the car.

 

yup me too.,...but my motor still works...just everytime i start the car the door jams and u hear the motor cranking and i gota like push the top part of the door to get it open or the motor will keep grinding...so they are ordering me a new door and motor as well....mine is about 5 months old too...

sucks i been waiting 2 weeks for the motor and door...still no call from nissan

 

Nope, happened 6 months after I had my 05 ZR, they replaced the motorized door within 30 minutes. They had to order it though, took about a 10 days to get in. I think thats why they are no longer motorized!

 

Mine won't open in winter without a little finger help but in summer it's fine. Go figure. When it completely stops working I'll get it fixed.

 

Its a pretty complex assembly from a mechanical standpoint.

 

The dealers going to blame it on your modifications!
