Default Bodykit question

I am about to get a add on lip kit for the Z. I am wondering is it a good idea to have the body shop JUST paint the kit, and you install yourself? Or should I just let the shop paint AND install? How are is it to install your own lip kit? And if after its painted? is there a chance i could crack the paint when i try to install?

Obviously let the body shop paint it....and they shouldn't charge you much if anything to install it. Let them do it...there are adhesion promoters that should be used, as well as special two-sided tape.

For best results, leave it to the pros.

are you a handymand? if you're then you can install yourself so you can save money on the labor. If you are not carefull enough, you will crack the paint when you install it.

what lip kit are you goin with?

i'd test fit it before painting to see fitment. if fitment sucks then have the bodyshop install, if its good fitment then just install it yourself.
