Haven't asked around yet, but just thought of this while driving into the sun last night. The AS1 line is pretty low on the Z. It's got that "dotted" sun shade around the rear-view mirror. Is there a product, or would it be possible to match-up with that and extend it across to the sides? How do you think it would look?

Well you could get an "eyebrow." Basically just window tint across the top part of the windshield if you aren't familiar with that term. Never seen one on a Z though...

 

i have my whole windshield tinted with 50% and the "dots" caused no problem at all. the tinit layed fine on top if them. i guess this is what you are asking, if not sorry for posting here!

 

My buddy out here does those alot. More ppl get the "brow" than get full tints!!!
I've noticed that it seems to be a "right of passage" for alot of teens in their civic's and sunfire's.....

Seriously "Hammer", I like your idea of extending the oem windscreen "sun defectors" (?) to both sides.... Havent heard of that mod yet though

 

Yes, I was talking about having the "dots" go all the way across the windshield. They are actually larger dots on top and fade smaller as they go lower.

Just ran out and looked at the car. They actually go all the way around the edge of the windshield in a small line.

I have seen the "eyebrow" tints and don't really care for them. This would look stock or close to it. Don't know if anyone makes anything like what I'm talking about, but thought I'd ask.
