Fenders-The real story
Hey guys,
Looking for the real scoop on fenders. I need to replace my driver side fender and have been looking at the "shark" style aftermarkets. I would really like to find them in sheet-metal but haven't seen them(I'm really not concerned with the weight thing). A stock replacement will run around $200. I see the Eurbini(sp) fiberglass are around $200/pr. Dont really want to go the extra expense of CF.
Is it true that the fiberglass are prone to flexing and cracking the paint? Do they make them in FRP? Any other hazards I should be aware of(besides the obvious fitment issues)? Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
Hammer

but you're right about knockoffs, they use cheap low grade fibreglass that suck, and fitment/quality is horrible.
Quality JDM kits like Ings and Vertex uses FRP, and i've heard nothing but greats things about them.
