Ok, I tried searching for this, but couldn't find what i was looking for.

I'm wondering WHAT THE HELL IS WITH MY NAV door? I'm going to install an aftermarket touchpanel monitor, but i swear there's no way that nav door isn't going to drive me crazy sticking out like that.

Am I missing some sort of ultra-secret button that allows it to be pushed up and in like the pics of older Z's I see? There's no way this is going to look good with a screen in there.

Solutions???

nahh, dude, sorry. The pics you've seen are of '03 Z's. Their nav doors were different than ours. After '03 they changed the style to the door you (and i) have. No way to get around it. I know it sucks, i wish i had the '03 door too. I've seen a few folks on here asking about retrofits, but i don't believe that it can easily be done.

I did the same on my 05 because I installed my gauges there, it's a little lighter but you hardly notice the difference. Very easy to install.
I believe you also need to get a finisher.
