Start a thread and lay the Q out there.. you may find some folks that have had work performed locally. BamBam and PumpedVA are from the NoVa area (same as me) .. we can recomend some shops here.. if your willing to ship/drive your car down

i marked up and cut the passenger side oem panel untill it opened up without any rubbing, then i went an extra 1/8 inch wider to make room for any material that will be used to close the gap. did the whole thing over 2 long and slow days. i must of removed and reinstalled that panel about a dozen times because of remarking and recutting. the only problem is i have NO IDEA how to lay fiberglass and i cant seem to find anyone that will do it locally. my panel's had a huge hole in it since late last summer. i tell people that i got into an accident and i havent gotten around to fixing the panel yet.
i still have to work on the driver side, but there's not point in doing it right now since im at a dead end.

here are the only 2 pics i found. i didnt take a pic of the finished product because of how annoyed i was at the situation. the first pic shows how the door opens now. the second pic has the actual cutout outlined to give you an idea of what the cut looks like now.
the one thing i dont like is how the flow of the dash is disturbed on the inside. theres a gap now, but there is no other way around it i guess. i just want to be done with it already.
