Default StonGard on my LeMans (PICS), and my LeMans on StonGard.com!

I ended up choosing a Stongard for my clearbra vendor. It's a pretty tight install, and were a great group to work with. Here are a couple of pics from the day of the install. BTW, my car is on their website today at www.stongard.com!

I just realized that you can't see the line of the bra when it's resized to 640x480. The actual pic at 1600x1200 is available here if you want to see it.

You can barely see the line in this picture... regardless, they're actually pretty tricky to see in real life. This is the full kit + headlight protection.

I've seen this on a DB Z, and it just magnifies the orange peel to no end.

A couple coats of Zaino smoothes out the texture of the film and the paints orange peel nicely

Incidentally, the car had never been Zaino'd (or waxed) prior to the install. I did that so that there wouldn't be wax to remove...

I believe that both xpel and stongard actually use the same 3M material, it's the cut / design that makes the diff. Stongard's is a one piece front bumper where xpel is a 3 piece... at least that's what I understood the difference to be. In the end, a super installer makes a bigger diff than what kit you use, and since I live only a few miles from Stongard's HQ, I felt that to be my best option.

Actually Xpel and Stongard are both 2 piece. Look at the bar under your grill, its seperate from the rest of the bumper.
