yeah i saw pictures of the nismo body parts auctioned off at the nismo festival. they were insanely expensive.

as for ever being able to buy one or parts of a GT500 i say no way. nismo provides support for all the Zs but the 22 motul/nismo (now autech/nismo) and 1 xanavi/nismo (now #23) cars are Nismo inhouse cars. every year since 2004 they have made changes to the car and the old model goes to nissans museum in japan or tours auto shows. kind of like how they still bring the GT-R GT500 cars out at different festivals and events.


but on the other hand a GT300 spec car is private race team car. if you had the proper funds and connections i guess it would be possible. to buy parts or even one that inst used anymore. i mean you see race teams selling off porsche GT3's all the time in rolex and grand am.

i cant make it out that well but it looks like 300,000 yen for the rear bumper

thats around $2,500. but im not sure if that was opening bid or what it sold for?
